Hello Kentuckiana! This is the sixth week’s pick up for our Shelby Park, Gendler and West Louisville Fresh Stop Markets. We are seeing more tomatoes coming on and our beloved bullhorns. Let’s eat them while we can! Our farmers at Rootbound and Barr Farms are working hard for us so big shout out to our farmer families.
Here is what is coming in our shares:
All organically certified from Rootbound Farm, Crestwood, Kentucky
- Yellow Squash and Zucchini Mix: 2 lbs.
- Sweet Colored Bullhorn Peppers
- Cucumber, 1 lb.
- Lettuce: 1 head
- Slicing Tomatoes, 2 lbs.
- Potatoes, 1.5 lbs
- Bulb Onion: 1 each
All organically certified from Barr Farm, Rhodelia, Kentucky
- Garlic: 2 heads
I love my vegetables and appreciate the quality of everything. I no longer have this transportation to back and forth to the grocery for fresh vegetables. Thank you so much
