Since our beginnings in 2009, the number of individuals purchasing shares has increased by 1000 percent from 180 to 2000 in 2019.

During that same time, revenue produced for our local farm partners has grown from $1000 to $150,000

In 2019, our impact included:

      • 650 families (2000 individuals) accessing fresh, healthy, organic produce
      • 70 percent of our shares were purchased by those with limited resources or through SNAP Benefits
      • 7,000 shares sold
      • 8 markets open across Louisville and southern Indiana, with partners in Brandenburg and Hazard, Kentucky
      • $150,000 in revenue earned by local farmers

In my opinion, it’s a win-win-win-win: we get to help some of our employees get a nice deal on this wonderful, fresh produce, and we get to support the Fresh Stop Market in making what it offers available to even more of our neighbors in the Portland Neighborhood.
