Hello Kentuckiana! This is our first week of the 2021 growing season and we could not be more excited. Our farmers at Rootbound and Barr Farms are telling us this will be a great season, and we are certainly off to a great start with all of these luscious greens and root veggies, as well as a Fresh Stop Market favorite, garlic scapes.
Here is what is coming in our shares this week for Shelby Park Neighborhood Fresh Stop Market (Tuesday, 6/1), Gendler Grapevine Fresh Stop Market @ the J (Wednesday, 6/2), and West Louisville Fresh Stop Market (Thursday, 6/3):
All organically certified from Rootbound Farm, Crestwood, Kentucky
- Bok Choy: 1 head
- Collards: 1 bunch
- Radishes: 1 bunch
- Hakurei Salad Turnips: 1.5 lbs
- Spinach: 1 bunch
- Garlic Scape: 1 bunch
- Arugula: 1/2 bunch
All organically certified from Barr Farm, Rhodelia, Kentucky
- Kale: 1 bunch
These vegs are beautiful but could you send me something pictures telling what is what. What are the real big leaves. Thank you
