Hello Kentuckiana! This is the sixth week’s pick up for our California, Old Louisville, New Albany, and Portland (FMS) Fresh Stop Markets. We are seeing more tomatoes coming on and our beloved bullhorns. Let’s eat them while we can! Our farmers at Rootbound and Barr Farms are working hard for us so big shout out to our farmer families.
Here is what is coming in our shares:
All organically certified from Rootbound Farm, Crestwood, Kentucky
- Sweet Colored Bullhorn Peppers: 2 each
- Green Cabbage: 1 large head
- Potatoes, 1 1/2 lbs.
- Lettuce: 1 head
- Slicing Tomatoes, 2 lbs.
- Green Beans, 1 lb.
- Shishito Peppers, 1/2 lb.
All organically certified from Barr Farm, Rhodelia, Kentucky
- Either Okra 1/2 lb. or Zucchini 1 1/4 lbs.
